Look out! There’s a ninja on the roof!

June 25th, 2010

Hi everyone!

Aaron and I are back for another Happy Hour Japan episode. In this episode, we’ll take you to a Shinto Shrine and a Buddhist Temple. We’ll show you what both of them are like and point out some of the differences.

Enjoy!

Kanpai,
Kevin

おもしろいかた!Thanks for the temple and shrine tours! They are a soothing reprieve from hectic daily Japanese life. You guys have to make a video at a shrine/temple during a seasonal festival like spring or autumn or especially around New Years, when hordes of people gather. Most interesting and colorful!
Nice that Ryan could make it to Sushiland! He is very right, it is much easier visiting Japan if you already have family or friends here to acts as guides. It really helps make the experience much more enjoyable.

    Good onya, mates!

Kevin and Aaron, you two are amazing!!!!
I love all your videos. My husband, my two teenagers and I went to Tokyo and Kamakura a year ago, by this time, and we had the best trip ever.

We walked every where, people was very pleasant and helpful. With your videos, we got to understand the meaning of many things we saw and we didn’t know what was that.

My son 14 years old is pretty much interested in learning to speak japanese and dreams to go back(in 4 years) to Tokyo when finish is highschool. :)

Please, continue with your excellent work and thank you for sharing it.

We are looking forward to go back
